The 3rd Edition of the Abuja International Trade Fair was held from May 2 - 11, 2007 at the Old Parade Ground Garki Abuja the fair had over 150 booths. Dr. Ignatius Adaji the President of Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) flaged off the Ceromony, he was joined by dignitaries and Ambassadors. The Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) was fully represented. Famous MC's and comedians graced the occasion. The fair recorded a large turnout which was esstimated to 765,865 visitors per day. The which was sheduled to end on the 11th of May was extended to the 14th because of popular demand. The aim of the fair was to open up the Nigerian market to international investors and to show ways of making Abuja Self Sustaining not relying on Federal government allocations. Financial Instituitions, Corporate Bodies, Government parastatals were present at twelve day events. The officials of ABUCCIMA plans to hold the next Trade Fair at the proposed site for fair organising in Abuja.
