CULTURE AND TOURISM
NANA LIVING HISTORY MUSEUM, MONUMENT,KOKO. (WARRI NORTH LGA)

This is a National Living History located in Koko in Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State. Chief Nana Olomu Ebrohimi who was a powerful nineteenth century indigenous entrepreneur built this national monument. The magnificent edifice, houses his personal effects and they reflect his enlightened contact with the British Empire under Queen Victoria.

OBI PALACE IDUMUJE-UGBOKO (ANIOCHA-NORTH)
Delta Trade FairThis is one of the oldest Palace in Delta State. It is the Palace of the Obi of Idumuje-Ugboko. It was built over one hundred and fifty years ago withlaterite and traditional construction techniques used for its construction. The structure and the cultural objects in it are singularly beautiful and historically significant.

DEMAS NWOKO PLACE. IDUMUJE-UGBOKO:
This spectacular building is a product of the traditional designs, materials and construction techniques of the Ibo and Benin Ancient Civilization. As a bridge between ancient and the modern, this building is famous worldwide. This building and its builder have become favorite subject of Doctoral Theses by students of twentieth and twenty-first century neo-classical architecture.

BIBLE SITE, ARAYA (ISOKO SOUTH LGA).
A copy of the Holy Bible is believed to have descended miraculously from Heaven to this particular spot in Araya, around August 1914. The site now attracts thousands of Christian pilgrims especially during Easter period.

THE RESIDENCY OF MUNGO-PARK BUILDING ASABA MUEUEM-(OSHIMlLLI  SOUTHLGA):
This was the first Headquarters of the Royal Niger Company, now allocated by the Delta State Government to the National Commission for Museum and Monuments for a National Museum Station in the State.

NIGER BRlDGE, ASABA (OSHIMILI SOUTH)
Built by the Federal Government of Nigeria in 1965 at a cost of 6,000,000.00 Pounds. It links the West to the Eastern part of Nigeria. More than 3Million people use the bridge daily.

THE IBRU CENTRE.AGBARHA-OTOR (UGHELU NORTH):
An international Ecumenical Center run by the Trinity Foundation. The Center welcomes guests for retreats, spiritual solace, short courses, pilgrimage and spiritual rejuvenating exercise.

LANDER BROTHERS' ANCHORAGE
This was built in commemoration of the Lander Brothers' (Richard and John) expedition journey to Asaba to discover the source of the River Niger. The complex includes the replica of the Anchor, Expatriates Graveyard, Tourism Information Centre and a Restaurant/Bar.

CHIEF DR. OSADEBAY'S MAUSOLEUM
The Mausoleum and its adjoining garden is owned by the first and former Premier of the defunct Mid-Western Region. It is located in Asaba. It is a beautiful site to behold.

CHIEF BEKEDEREMO'S PALACE
The palace is located at Kiagbodo village in Burutu Local Government Area. The palace, which is owned by late Chief Bekederemo, is a display of ancient architectural construction.
Other interesting sites and monuments include beautiful beaches at Asaba, Bomadi, Escravos, Ubulu-Okiti lake, Ekumeku monuments, Delta Panorama, Ojife monuments and the mangrove forest in Warri South, Warri North, Burutu local government areas of Delta State.

Delta State popularly known as the 'Big Heart' has some of the leading Hospitality centres in the country. Facilities for leisure, super accommodation and conferences abound in the State.
